Kanye West Will Boycott Grammys if Frank Ocean is Not Nominated

Kanye West has announced that he will not attend the 2017 Grammy Awards if his friend Frank Ocean does not receive nominations.

It was previously revealed that Frank is not eligible for awards at the upcoming ceremony because neither of his recently released albums, Blonde and Endless, were submitted for consideration.

Kanye still thinks that Frank should be considered for awards.

“I’ll tell you this right now, if his album is not nominated in no categories, I’m not showing up to the Grammys,” Kanye said during his concert on Saturday night (October 22). “As artists, we’ve got to come together to fight the bulls�”.”

Frank was previously nominated for Album of the Year and Best New Artist in 2013. He picked up two awards that year, including Best Rap/Sung Collaboration for “No Church in the Wild” with Kanye and Jay Z.
