Donald Trump's Inauguration Cake Looks Identical to Obama's 2013 Cake, Baker Responds

The cake that Donald Trump was presented with on stage at his 2017 Inaugural Ball looked strikingly similar to the one featured at Barack Obama‘s Inaugural Ball in 2013.

Duff Goldman, the celebrity baker and owner of Charm City Cakes in Maryland, made the cake in 2013 and he has spoken out about how the cakes look identical.

“The cake on the left is the one I made for President Obama’s inauguration 4 years ago. The one on the right is Trumps. I didn’t make it. �”,” Duff tweeted along with a side by side of the two cakes.

Both cakes feature the same amount of tiers, the same patterns of colors, the same use of stars and coins, and more. It’s not known if the cakes had the same flavors.
