Ellen Pompeo Will Direct a 'Grey's Anatomy' Episode This Year!

Ellen Pompeo is set to make her directorial debut on an episode of Grey’s Anatomy this season!

The actress, who has starred on the medical drama for 13 years, is following in the footsteps of some of her co-stars like Chandra Wilson and Kevin McKidd. Both of them have directed several episodes during their time on the show.

Ellen‘s episode will go into production in early February and it is set to air sometime this season, according to TV Line.
