Lady Gaga's Album Sales Soar After Super Bowl Halftime Show 2017!
Lady Gaga‘s 2017 Super Bowl Halftime Show caused quite the splash and now her album sales have soared since Sunday’s performance!
The 30-year-old entertainer sold 150,000 digital albums and songs in the U.S. on Sunday, which is a 1,000% increase from the day before, the AP reports. In addition, her songs “Born This Way,” ”Bad Romance” and “Poker Face” saw a big increase as well!
In total, her albums had 23,000 downloads and her songs topped 125,000 downloads.
Gaga‘s song “Million Reasons” saw the most downloads after her big show, with 45,000 downloads.
Gaga‘s streaming numbers on Vevo also increased heavily after the halftime show. When comparing her views during the 8pm hour (EST) against her average hourly views in the last 28 days, Gaga‘s Vevo content saw a 431% lift in hourly views globally, and 1878% increase in the U.S.
After the halftime show, Gaga announced a world tour!
