Cuba Gooding Jr.'s Dad Found Dead of Suspected Overdose

Cuba Gooding Sr., the father of the Oscar-winning actor, was found dead of a possible overdose.

The former soul singer passed away on Thursday (April 20) at the age of 72. He was found in his car, which was parked on the side of Ventura Blvd. in Woodland Hills, Calif.

The fire department was not able to resuscitate him, TMZ reports. Empty booze containers were found in the car and police suspect an overdose is the cause of death.
