Michelle Pfeiffer & Robert De Niro Talk 'The Wizard of Lies' in NYC

Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro are debuting their film The Wizard of Lies.

The co-stars stepped out The Hollywood Reporter‘s premiere of the film on Friday (May 12) at 92nd Street Y in New York City.

The film follows the life of Bernie Madoff and his infamous Ponzi scheme and how his deception and lies affected his family.

During the premiere, Michelle spoke out about playing the role of his wife, Ruth Madoff.

“It was unrelenting to see what these people go through and how it affected everyone. And for me – Ruth, mostly – she lost everything in a day. It was all taken away from her,” she told THR.
