Ellie Kemper and Stephen Colbert brought all the laughs during their truly adorable sells pitch of rescue dogs on The Late Show on Wednesday (August 16) in New York City.

The 53-year-old late-night host and the Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt star went back and forth on their sell pitches on Rescue Dog Rescue, a recurring segment on The Late Show that sees celebrity guests and Stephen helping find actual rescue dogs a home by telling extremely flattering lies about the puppies.

Ellie also sat on the couch and dished to Stephen that she and her husband Michael Koman have decided to go the Catholic route in raising their 1-year-old son, James.
