Justin Timberlake Recalls Janet Jackson Super Bowl Controversy: 'I Stumbled Through It' (Video)
Justin Timberlake is recalling the moment he exposed Janet Jackson at the Super Bowl halftime show years ago in 2004.
During his interview with Beats 1, host Zane Lowe asked about the malfunction.
“Yeah and I stumbled through it, to be quite honest,” Justin replied. “I had my wires crossed, and it’s just something that you have to look back on and go, like, ‘OK, well, you know, you can’t change what’s happened but you can move forward and learn from it.’”
Zane also asked if Janet and Justin were able to “resolve the situation” and “make peace of the whole thing,” to where Justin said, “Absolutely.”
“And I don’t know that a lot of people know that. I don’t think it’s my job to do that because you value the relationships that you do have with people,” Justin said.
Justin will perform at the halftime show of the 2018 Super Bowl on February 4.
