Serena Williams Gets Emotional During Post-Match Interview After Wimbledon 2018 Loss - Watch

Serena Williams is opening up after losing to German player Angelique Kerber during Saturday’s game (July 14) at The Championships, Wimbledon 2018 in London, England.

The 36-year-old tennis player emotionally spoke out during an interview in front of the crowd, which included friend Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton.

“It was such an amazing tournament for me. I was really hoping to get this far,” she said as her voice started to break.

“It’s obviously disappointing, but I can’t be disappointed. I have so much to look forward to. I’m literally just getting started.”

“To all the moms out there, I was playing for you today and I tried.”
