Ruth Wilson Reveals the Strangest Part of Portraying Her Real-Life Grandmother on 'Mrs. Wilson'

Ruth Wilson is telling her family’s story in her upcoming three-part PBS special.

The 37-year-old Mrs. Wilson actress stepped out for the 2019 Winter TCA Tour on Friday afternoon (February 1) at The Langham Huntington in Pasadena, Calif.

She was also joined by her co-star Iain Glen as well as executive producer Rebecca Eaton and writer Anna Symon.

During the panel discussion, Ruth opened up about the strangest part of portraying her real-life grandmother in the series.

“Giving birth to my own dad” and “kissing my granddad..I need to go to therapy now,” she joked during the event, adding, “My poor dad, having to watch that” at a family screening of the show.

Mrs. Wilson premieres on March 31st on PBS.
