1. Michael groomed both his alleged victims and their families.

After meeting 10-year-old James on set of a Pepsi commercial and 7-year-old Wade after he won a dance contest, both of their moms said that Michael became a son to them. They would host sleepovers with Michael at their homes while they also visited him at his Neverland Ranch. Because of his child-like persona, the families said they felt comfortable having Michael around their sons – and were fine with letting Michael sleep in the same bed as James and Wade.
