Lori Loughlin Dropped By Hallmark After Arrest for College Admissions Scam

Earlier this week, Lori Loughlin, and her husband Mossimo Giannulli, were arrested after it was discovered that they allegedly paid $500,000 to get their two daughters accepted into the University of Southern California.

Allegations surfaced that they bribed sports recruiters inside the university to have their children accepted as athletes for the crew team, despite the fact that neither of their children participated in the sport.

The arrest and findings have caused the Hallmark Channel to end their association with Lori, who has starred in the series When Calls the Heart since 2014, as well as the Garage Sale Mysteries TV movies.

The brand released a statement, saying, “We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels involving Lori Loughlin, including Garage Sale Mysteries, an independent third party production.”
