Who Went Home on 'Survivor' 2019? Week 5 Spoilers!

Survivor is back in full swing. Fourteen castaways are still in the running on Season 38 of the hit CBS series, and this season is the “Edge of Extinction.”

During this season, players were introduced to a new concept: contestants who are voted off have an option to take a boat to an area known as the “Extinction Island” rather than leave the game permanently. It’s an abandoned beach with fewer amenities than the main island, where they can either wait for an opportunity to re-join the game or leave at any point. The remaining contestants will also initially be unaware of this twist.

Last week, Rick became the fourth contestant voted off of the island. He, like the past three eliminated contestants, decided to go to Extinction Island. Meet all of the contestants!

Rick decides to go to Extinction Island.

The tribes compete in a reward challenge for a sandwich reward. Kama and Manu win the reward challenge. At Extinction Island, Chris receives a practice advantage, while Rick gets a second advantage, which allows him to give someone still in the game an extra vote. Kama and Lesu win during the immunity challenge, meaning Manu must go to tribal council.

Aubry learns that Rick has given her the extra vote advantage.

There is one vote for Wendy, and three votes for Aubry. Aubry is the fifth person voted off the island. She is embarrassed because she had both a vote advantage and a hidden idol, but decides to go to Extinction Island.

Kama and Manu tribes win the second reward challenge of the episode. Keith wins the advantage at Extinction Island, making it possible to tie his biggest enemy’s hands in knots.

Kama wins the immunity challenge, and the two remaining tribes must go to tribal council together to vote one person out.

At the second tribal council of the episode, there are four votes for Wendy and four votes for Lauren. It’s a tie, and so they are removed from the vote. Everyone else casts their votes, and all of the votes are for Wendy. She heads to Extinction Island.
