'The Crown' Enlists Newcomer to Play Princess Diana

Emma Corrin has landed the role of Princess Diana in Netflix’s The Crown.

The character will not make an appearance until the fourth season, Variety reports. It was previously thought we would see her in the upcoming third season.

Emma is a newcomer, though she does have some projects in the works! She can be seen in the upcoming Epix series Pennyworth, and will make her film debut as Miss South Africa in Misbehaviour.

Season three of The Crown will debut later this year, and season four does not yet have a release date.
