Actress Lisa Sheridan's Cause of Death Revealed
Lisa Sheridan passed away earlier this year and now her cause of death has been revealed.
The former Halt and Catch Fire actress died of “complications of chronic alcoholism” at the age of 44. The coroner’s office said that her death was “natural,” according to People.
The autopsy reported that Lisa suffered from a “remote brain injury” due to a fall, she had “hyperinflated” lungs, a cyst on her right ovary, and a “reported history of benzodiazepine abuse.”
If you didn’t know, Benzodiazepines are “a type of prescription sedative commonly prescribed for anxiety or to help with insomnia.”
At the time of Lisa‘s death in February, her manager denied that she had taken her own life and said the family was waiting for the coroners report.
