Queer Eye's Antoni Porowski Was Almost Cast in Taylor Swift's 'Blank Space' Video!

Antoni Porowski stars in Taylor Swift‘s “You Need To Calm Down” music video alongside the Fab 5 of Queer Eye – but did you know he was almost in an earlier music video from the superstar?

The 35-year-old food expert revealed the surprising news in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.

“Remember the music video for ‘Blank Space’? I auditioned for that when I was a waiter. And I got called back twice and it was between me and two other guys,” he revealed.

He said that his audition consisted of pretending to run away from a lion in front of a green screen, and that Taylor ended up “changing the direction of the video.” He ultimately did not land the part.

“It’s unfortunate how terribly unattractive he is,” he joked about Sean O’Pry, the male model who ultimately got the role.

“He’s not. He’s extremely attractive. So, I did have a first chance at a Taylor Swift music video and I didn’t get it, so now I felt like Phoenix rising redemption and I got to actually be in one. As myself. How weird is the world and life?”
