Christian Bale Approves of Robert Pattinson as Batman
Christian Bale totally approves of Robert Pattinson playing Batman.
The 45-year-old Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises actor recently shared his thoughts about the 33-year-old Twilight star taking on the iconic role in The Batman.
“Good choice!” Christian told Variety at the 2019 Toronto International Film Festival, where Christian premiered his new movie Ford v Ferrari. “He’s interesting.”
His advice to Robert was the same advice he gave to Ben Affleck, who took over the role for Batman v Superman and Justice League: “Just be able to pee by yourself. You don’t feel like a superhero when you aren’t able to piss by yourself.”
Christian Bale’s Ford v Ferrari co-star Matt Damon chimed in, “Did you see the Safdie brothers movie he did? He was fantastic,” referring to 2017′s Good Time.
ICYMI, hear what Robert Pattinson‘s Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart had to say about Robert taking on the role!
