Jane Fonda Arrested For Fourth Time During Protest in Washington D.C.

Jane Fonda has been arrested for the fourth time in four weeks during her continued climate change protest.

The 81-year-old actress and activist was handcuffed with a group of other protesters on Friday (November 1) inside the Hart Senate Building in Washington, D.C.

This week, Jane was joined by actresses Catherine Keener and Rosanna Arquette.

The group was taking part in Jane‘s “Fire Drill Fridays” to peacefully protest and advocate that lawmakers finally act on climate change and pass the Green New Deal.

They were charged with crowding, obstructing or incommoding. After the arrest, Jane will spend a night in jail.
