'Survivor' Honors Contestant Rudy Boesch After His Death
Survivor is paying tribute to one of its most beloved alums, Rudy Boesch, following his sad passing.
The show, which aired on Wednesday (November 6), honored the former Navy SEAL during an episode of its current season, Survivor: Island of the Idols.
During the episode, the show aired a photo of Rudy with a tribute that read “A Survivor Icon. An American Hero.”
If you didn’t know, Rudy played the original season of Survivor at 72 years old, and returned at the age of 75 for Survivor: All Stars.
He sadly died at the age of 91 on November 1 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this difficult time.
