Why Selena Gomez, Harry Styles, & Others Weren't Nominated for Grammys 2020

Many people saw the 2020 Grammys nominations list today and wondered why some artists who recently released music were not recognized at all.

Some of the artists who released music recently include Selena Gomez (who released “Look At Her Now” and “Lose You to Love Me” last month), as well as Harry Styles (who has an album coming out next month and has released new music recently like “Watermelon Sugar.”)

Both Selena and Harry missed the cutoff for eligibility this year, which ran from October 1, 2018 and August 31, 2019. So, their new music won’t be eligible until the 2021 Grammys.
