Michael J. Pollard Dead - 'Bonnie & Clyde' Actor Dies at 80

Michael J. Pollard has sadly passed away at the age of 80.

The Oscar-nominated Bonnie and Clyde actor died of cardiac arrest at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center on Wednesday (November 20) in Los Angeles, his longtime friend Dawn Walker told THR.

Director Rob Zombie, who worked with Michael on 2003′s House of 1,000 Corpses, confirmed his death on Facebook on Friday: “We have lost another member of our House of 1,000 Corpses family. I woke up to the news that Michael J. Pollard had died. I have always loved his work and his truly unique on screen presence. He was one of the first actors I knew I had to work with as soon as I got my first film off the ground. He will be missed. I can’t believe all three of my friends in this picture are now gone.”

Not only did Michael serve as the inspiration behind Michael J. Fox‘s stage name, but he also starred in the television shows like Lost in Space and Star Trek before appearing in films such as Roxanne, Scrooged, Tango & Cash, Dirty Little Billy, Melvin and Howard, and The Woods.
