Haruma Miura Dead - Japanese Movie Star Dies at 30

Japanese film and television star Haruma Miura has passed away at the young age of 30.

Miura was found unresponsive at his home in Tokyo. His manager went to his house after he didn’t show up for work and Haruma was rushed to the hospital, but declared dead upon arrival, according to Deadline.

Reports say that Tokyo Metropolitan Police are investigating the death as a possible suicide.

Haruma made his acting debut in the 1997 drama Agri when he was just seven-years-old. His big break came in 2009 with his role in the movie Naoko, for which he won the newcomer award at the Japan Academy Awards.

One of Haruma‘s biggest projects was the two-part live-action adaptation of Attack On Titan, in which he played the title role of Eren.

Haruma‘s final Instagram post was just three days before his death and he encouraged fans to watch his next project, Love Will Begin When Money End, which premieres in September.

We’re sending our thoughts and condolences to Haruma‘s loved ones during this difficult time.

Just six months into the year, we’ve already lost so many amazing stars and we’re remembering them all.
