'American Idol' Releases Statement on Nikki McKibbin's Sudden Death at 42
Nikki McKibbin, a fan favorite finalist on American Idol‘s very first season, passed away suddenly at the age of 42 from a brain aneurysm.
Now, the show is releasing a statement on her sudden death and mourning her loss.
“Nikki McKibbin was an incredible talent and we are deeply saddened by the news of her passing. She was part of our American Idol family and will be truly missed. Our hearts and prayers go out to her family and friends during this difficult time,” the show tweeted.
