Rod Stewart's Wife Penny Lancaster Has A Brand New Job As A London Cop!

Penny Lancaster has traded in the runway for the streets, as she was spotted in her brand new job as a London cop.

The 50-year-old former model and wife to rocker Rod Stewart was pictured in her uniform patrolling the streets of the busy city.

According to Page Six, Penny actually joined the force last year as a volunteer special constable, which means she’s part of the part-time volunteer section.

But it looks like Penny liked the job more than expected and completed a special training course to qualify to be a Special Police Constable, which gives her powers to arrest.

Earlier this week, Penny was spotted in her uniform and policing the streets with another member of the team, and actually caught a man urinating on the side of a building.

The site also reports that she first starting training as a Special Police Constable after appearing on Famous and Fighting Crime in 2019, a British series which paired celebs with police officers to get an inside look at fighting crime and keeping the peace in the big city.

“When you think of policing, you think of the most violent crimes but we’re out there to help the most vulnerable,” she shared on Good Morning Britain. “At this particular time there’s a lot of incidents on the bridges and I did help someone who was very desperate on the bridge the other night.”

Last year, Rod was pictured taking a solo vacation in this US state.
