Cindy Crawford Takes Two Jacuzzi Dips a Day: 'It Saves Money Because It's Therapy'

On her love of jacuzzis: “Our jacuzzi is outdoors, and I’m very blessed to live on the ocean. I usually take two [soaks] a day: the one at 6:30 in the morning is my gratitude soak because I’m by myself and the birds are chirping. For the later one before dinner my husband will come in with me, so it’s our time to catch up and just enjoy the sunset. I’m a Pisces, and warm water is definitely my thing. It’s so restorative. And with a jacuzzi, I think, if you amortize it, it saves money because it’s therapy.”

On eating habits: “I started doing an abbreviated intermittent fasting this year. When I’m home—not when I’m going out—I try not to eat after 8 and then I don’t eat until 10 the next morning. At the very beginning of Covid, when everyone thought it was going to only be three weeks, it was like, ‘Yeah, let’s have lots of drinks,’ but when we realized it was going to be a year, I’ve definitely been drinking less being at home. If I’m going to drink, I’ll have one before dinner and that’s it.”

On social media: “For me so much of social media is work, so I’m definitely not the person lying in bed scrolling through Instagram. You hear about the effects of blue light now too, and I don’t want to disrupt my sleep any more than life does, so I try to read more. I have a stack of books on my bedside table that I have good intentions to get to and the Kindle Paperwhite, which I like because I can make the font bigger.”
