Chrissy Teigen & John Legend Adopt the Cutest Basset Hound Puppy Named Pearl!

The Legends have a new family member!

On Tuesday (July 27), Chrissy Teigen and John Legend both took to Instagram to introduce their fans to their newly adopted Basset Hound puppy named Pearl, and she is just the cutest thing ever.

“Pearl has touched down into the legend/teigen/stephens household! We love this little girl so much already but I will admit, she has definitely taken to John first!!” the 35-year-old cookbook author wrote.

“Penny is obsessed with her so it’s been fun watching the adventures of penny and pearl unfold,” she continued. “I grew up with Basset Hounds so I can’t wait for John to see this bouncy, no-bones, jello mold of skin grow into the stubborn logs of love I love so much. Excited for this new little heart to add love to our home.”

John, 42, also shared some cute photos with Pearl, writing, “Meet our newest family member Pearl! 🐶❤️”

Pearl‘s arrival comes a few weeks after Chrissy and John had to say goodbye to their beloved French Bulldog Pippa.
