In honor of her 40th anniversary in the music industry in 2022, starting with her 1982 debut single “Everybody,” the deal includes an “extensive, multi-year series of catalog releases” from her discography.
And for the first time ever, Madonna will personally curate expansive deluxe editions of many of her albums, plus unique releases for special events.
“Since the very beginning, Warner Music Group has helped bring my music and vision to all my fans around the world with the utmost care and consideration,” Madonna said in a statement. “They have been amazing partners, and I am delighted to be embarking on this next chapter with them to celebrate my catalogue from the last 40 years.”
Madonna just recently left Interscope/Universal Music Group. She is the best-selling female artist of all time after selling over 300 million records globally.
