Slipknot's Corey Taylor Says He's 'Very, Very Sick' After Contracting COVID-19
Slipknot singer Corey Taylor has revealed that he is battling a bad case of coronavirus.
On Friday (August 20), the 47-year-old singer canceled his appearance at the upcoming Astronomicon in Ann Arbor, Michigan after testing positive for the virus.

“I wish I had better news. I woke up today and tested positive, and I’m very, very sick,” Corey shared in a video posted to the convention’s Facebook page.
“So I’m not gonna be able to make it this weekend. And I am absolutely devastated,” he added. “I am so sorry. I hope everyone has a good time, and I promise you I will absolutely try to get back there as soon as I can. I should be okay — it’s the flu.”
Corey then went on to reveal that he tested positive after already receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
“I’m vaccinated, so I’m not worried,” Corey continued. “But I certainly wouldn’t want to spread it to anyone else. So, everybody be safe out there. And thank you so much. And I will see you again, I promise.”
Corey isn’t the only star that has contracted COVID while already vaccinated. This actress just also revealed that she is currently battling the virus.
