'Selling Sunset' Star Amanza Smith Granted Sole Custody of Her Kids as Ex-Husband Ralph Brown Remains Missing

Amanza Smith has received full custody of her children.

The 43-year-old Selling Sunset star was granted sole legal and physical custody of her kids, daughter Noah and son Baker, during a legal hearing on Wednesday (September 29), as her ex-husband Ralph Brown remains missing, according to court documents obtained by E! News.

In the documents, Ralph did not appear in court during the hearing, nor has been involved in the case for the past two years.

“I’m relieved that this long process is over, it’s been incredibly hard on me and especially the children,” Amanza shared in a statement to E! News.

“We will never be ‘over’ the absence of their father,” she continued, “but hopefully we can move forward in a more positive way now that we are unhindered by the legal obstacles that prevented me from making the decisions that are best for us as a family of three.”

Amanza and Ralph married in 2010 and split in 2012. Amanza filed for custody of her kids in June 2021, writing in court documents that she hasn’t seen Ralph since November 2019.

In an interview from October 2020, Amanza talked about Ralph‘s disappearance, and revealed if she thinks he’s still alive.
