Bill Clinton Says He's 'Glad to Be Home' in First Message Since Being Released From Hospital

Bill Clinton is opening up about his hospitalization.

Several days after he was released from the hospital for an infection, the 75-year-old former president released a video where he said he “was so touched by the outpouring of support” he received during his hospitalization at UCI Medical Center in California.

“I’m really glad to be back home,” Clinton said in a video shared to Twitter. “I’m doing great, enjoying this beautiful fall weather.”

He continued, “I’m on the road to recovery, but I want to remind everyone out there — take the time to listen to your bodies, and care for yourselves.”

“We all have work to do and each of us has an important role to play in life and in the immediate future,” Clinton concluded. “I, for one, am going to do my best to be around to keep doing the most good I can for a lot longer.”

Clinton was admitted to the hospital in California last week where he was treated for “a non-COVID-related infection.”

On Sunday (October 17), Bill Clinton was discharged from the hospital and had wife Hillary Clinton by his side.
