HBO Max has released a full-length trailer for the upcoming season, which is set to debut on January 9, 2022.

The trailer finds Zendaya‘s character Rue seemingly having relapsed and falling into the drug trade.

The network’s official synopsis reads: “Amidst the intertwining lives in the town of East Highland, 17-year-old Rue (Zendaya) must find hope while balancing the pressures of love, loss, and addiction.”

Also seen throughout the trailer are Jacob Elordi, Barbie Ferreira, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, Storm Reid, Hunter Schafer, Angus Cloud, Nika King, Austin Abrams and more, as is newcomers Dominic Fike.

New episodes will debut weekly on HBO and will also be available to stream on HBO Max starting January 9. Check out the full trailer below!
