Michael Keaton Is Joining 'Batgirl' Movie!

Michael Keaton is stepping back into the role of Batman!

The 70-year-old actor is joining the upcoming Warner Bros. and DC movie Batgirl, THR reported Wednesday (December 22).

The forthcoming film centers on hero Barbara Gordon, and Michael Keaton is expected to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne/Batman, which he originated in Tim Burton’s Batman in 1989.

If you didn’t know, this isn’t the first time he’s reprising his role: he also did so in the upcoming The Flash, starring Ezra Miller, due out in theaters on November 4, 2022.

Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing Batgirl, in which Leslie Grace stars as Barbara Gordon, the daughter of Commissioner Jim Gordon.

The movie is already in production, and shooting in London. J.K. Simmons and Brendan Fraser also are in the cast.
