Chris Evans is taking on a new role!

Deadline announced on Monday (January 24) that the 40-year-old actor would star opposite Dwayne Johnson in a new action-comedy titled Red One.

While specific plot details are being kept under wraps, the outlet teased that the movie “is a globe-trotting, four-quadrant action-adventure comedy, imagining a whole new universe to explore within the holiday genre.”

The film landed at Amazon Studios after a competitive bidding war and Jake Kasdan, known for his work on the Jumanji franchise, is set to direct.

Dwayne confirmed that he had joined the project back in June.
