Nicole Kidman Reveals Her Daughters' Hilarious Reactions to Her Oscar Nomination - Watch!

Nicole Kidman is on Cloud Nine after her latest Oscar nomination!

Earlier this week, the 54-year-old actress landed a Best Actress nomination for her portrayal of Lucille Ball in Being the Ricardos.

In a new interview, Nicole revealed the hilarious reactions her two youngest daughters – Sunday, 13, and Faith, 11 – had when they learned the exciting news.

While appearing on The View on Thursday (February 11), Nicole revealed that she found out the news while having breakfast with her kids.

“I get a FaceTime call and my kids are like, ‘Your phone’s going off, someone’s FaceTiming you, Mom,’” Nicole recalled. “And I pick it up and they go, ‘You’ve just been nominated for an Oscar.’”

Nicole said that she burst into tears because “there was so much emotion attached to it that I didn’t realize I was carrying,” but her daughters had a much different reaction.

“My kids are looking at me like, ‘Wow, congrats, Mom. Anyway, we’re gonna be late, we gotta get going,’” Nicole shared.

Eben though they didn’t have huge reactions to her Oscar nod, Nicole shared that they have been very supportive of her career, particularly in her decision to star in Being the Ricardos.

“They’re always a part of every decision, because, obviously, the family has to come and has to support,” Nicole explained. “I’m asking for them to let me go and do it and take time away from them. It was a group decision.”
