Chase Stokes & Ex Madelyn Cline Seen Holding Hands on the Set of 'Outer Banks'

Fans are freaking out over the latest set photos from Outer Banks!

On Monday (February 28), the official Instagram account for the Netflix series shared a photo of the lead actors that featured real-life exes Chase Stokes and Madelyn Cline holding hands.

While it’s possible that the show may have been shooting at the time and the pair were in character, one fan pointed out on Twitter, “I don’t think this is them playing the characters, JJ holding Rafe doesn’t make sense, they hate each other… so…”

However, some thought that the photo was just for promo and wasn’t an indication that Madelyn and Chase were back together. One social media user wrote, “[I]t would be weird if the [Outer Banks] account didn’t post pics of Madelyn and Chase being all cutesy and stuff their characters are a couple and are ‘married’ and a fan favorite [I] mean-.”

The pair sparked dating rumors in 2020 when they revealed they were quarantining together and confirmed their relationship in the summer of that year.

In September 2021 there were rumors that the pair had split, which were confirmed in November.

Since their split, Madelyn has been spotted out with another famous star.
