ACM Awards Hands Out Best New Artist Awards Early, Ahead of Tonight's Show

The ACM Awards are almost here!

The annual country music award ceremony will be streaming on Prime Video tonight, March 7, but before the show kicks off, the ACMs have already handed out two of the prizes!

The Academy of Country Music revealed that Parker McCollum and Lainey Wilson have both picked up the New Male Artist of the Year, and New Female Artist of the Year honors just hours before the show was to start.

Parker was nominated alongside HARDY, Walker Hayes, Ryan Hurd and Elvie Shane; while Lainey was up against Tenille Arts, Priscilla Block, Lily Rose, and Caitlyn Smith.

Both Parker and Lainey are also set to perform at tonight’s show.

The 2022 ACM Awards will air live via streaming TONIGHT, Monday, March 7 at 8 p.m. on Prime Video.
