Andrew Garfield Is Honored at CDGA Awards 2022 With Spotlight Award
Andrew Garfield suits up sharp for the 2022 Costume Designers Guild Awards on Wednesday night (March 9) in Santa Monica, Calif.
The 38-year-old actor hit the pink carpet ahead of being honored at the annual ceremony, which honors the achievement of excellence in Costume Design in film, television, and short form design.
Andrew was given a special honor – the Spotlight Award – at the show.
“Andrew Garfield’s history with costume design has transcended genre,” Salvador Perez, President of the Costume Designers Guild, shared in a statement. “A tech giant, a decorated soldier, a superhero and now, with his performances in The Eyes of Tammy Faye and tick, tick…BOOM!, he has proven that he can do, and wear, just about anything.”
In addition to Andrew, Amy Pascal also received a special award which was presented by Laura Dern.
Mira Sorvino, Storm Reid, Bel-Air stars Coco Jones and Jabari Banks, Melora Hardin, Christopher McDonald, Anne Heche, and Alfred Molina joined hosts Andrew Rannells and Casey Wilson at the show.
FYI: Andrew G wore a Saint Laurent suit. Coco wore a Sophie Couture dress. Storm wore Prada. Andrew R wore a Vacheron Constantin watch. Jabari is wearing a Grayscale tuxedo, DSquared2 shoes, an Omega watch, and David Yurman rings.
