The legendary Succession actor appeared in a hilarious sketch that spoofed the HBO series Euphoria and he also had an interesting interview on the show, which aired on Monday night (March 14).

During the interview, Brian was asked about his recent comments about Johnny Depp. In his memoir, he called the actor “overrared” and said that he turned down a role in Pirates of the Caribbean because of his negative view of Johnny.

“You know what it’s like,” Brian said. “You go for the easy joke, and I went for the easy joke. I sort of regretted it, because I’m not like that normally. I was just being a bit glib, a bit flip.”

While Brian hasn’t heard from Johnny, he did bring up the actor’s legion of fans. He said, “I’ve heard a lot from his, they call it a fan club, but I think it’s some kind of CIA agency that works on his behalf.”

This isn’t the first time that Brian is walking back those comments.
