Whoopi Goldberg Reveals Her Advice for Hosting the Oscars to Amy Schumer

Whoopi Goldberg has some advice.

The 66-year-old The View co-star offered advice to Amy Schumer, who is hosting the 2022 Oscars, on Wednesday’s (March 16) episode.

“Go have a good time,” she said.

“Don’t read anything, stay away from all the internet, don’t read it two days before, and don’t read it two days after,” she continued.

“Everybody thinks it’s the easiest job in the world, and it’s not. If you have a good time, they’ll have a good time.”

Amy agreed, adding “It’s a big party, right? That’s why I wanted to do it.”

Whoopi has previously hosted the awards show four times: in 1994, 1996, 1999 and 2002.

Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall will be hosting alongside Amy Schumer.

There was recently a change regarding vaccines and quarantines for this year’s Academy Awards.
