Luann de Lesseps Says She 'Can't See' 'RHONY' Reboot Without Ramona Singer

Luann de Lesseps is weighing in on the forthcoming Real Housewives of New York reboot.

After Andy Cohen announced that the franchise would be rebooted with a new cast and Bravo would launch a spinoff featuring fan-favorite housewives, the reality star spoke with Page Six about which former cast members she’d want to see on the latter show.

“Listen, I can’t see a show without the Ramona Singer ‘Stinger,’” she told the outlet. “So, I’d be surprised if they didn’t ask her back.”

She continued, “Love her or hate her, she’s a woman that [many have] grown to love. We’ve seen her on television for so long.”

As for whether she’d want to be involved in the new series, Luann said, “If they ask me, I would love to.”

“I can’t think of a better scenario than coming back with all the OGs. What fun? I think it’s very hard to fit people into a cast that’s been around for so long,” she said, seemingly referencing newer co-stars Eboni K. Williams and Leah McSweeney. “It’s like the square peg in the round hole. Sometimes it just doesn’t work.”

The latest season of the show found Ramona feuding with newcomer Eboni. After a season of low ratings, it was announced last fall that the reunion for season 13 had been cancelled.
