Jerry Seinfeld Remembers 'Seinfeld' Mom Liz Sheridan After Her Passing

Jerry Seinfeld is honoring his late co-star Liz Sheridan.

On Friday (April 15), the 67-year-old actor and comedian took to social media to pay tribute to Liz, who played his mom on Seinfeld, after her death.

“Liz was always the sweetest, nicest TV mom a son could wish for. Every time she came on our show it was the coziest feeling for me. So lucky to have known her,” Jerry wrote on Twitter along with a photo of he and Liz on set of the NBC sitcom.

If you didn’t know, Liz played Helen Seinfeld, the mom of Jerry‘s character, on Seinfeld for about 20 episodes from Season 2 to the finale back in the ’90s.

On Friday, it was announced that Liz had died overnight in her sleep from natural causes. She was 93-years-old.
