Maya Hawke Joins the Cast of Bradley Cooper's Upcoming Movie 'Maestro'

Maya Hawke is the latest star to join the cast of Maestro!

The 23-year-old Stranger Things actress has landed a role in Netflix’s upcoming movie about famed composer Leonard Bernstein, who will be played by Bradley Cooper.

Directed and co-written by Bradley, Maestro “tells of the complex love story between Bernstein and Felicia Cohn Montealegre (Carey Mulligan). It’s a story that spanned more than 30 years, from the time they met in 1946 at a party, and continuing through two on-off engagements, a 25-year marriage, three children – Jamie, Alexander and Nina – and as Bernstein grappled with his own sexual orientation,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Maya will be playing Leonard and Felicia’s daughter Jamie.

It was also recently announced that this actor will be playing one of Leonard’s lovers in the movie.

Filming for Maestro is scheduled to begin in New York City in May.
