Ashley Judd Pays Tribute To Late Mom Naomi Judd After Country Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony

Ashley Judd is paying tribute to her mom, Naomi, in a sweet way.

The 54-year-old actress joined her sister Wynonna at The Judds’ Country Music Hall of Fame induction just a day after Naomi‘s untimely passing.

Taking to Instagram to share some personal pictures from the event, Ashley wrote to fans who have sent their thoughts to her and Wynonna, “Your outpouring is reaching me. Thank you for every thought, prayer, message, text, email, post, expression.”

She continued, “We each are alone and we are in fellowship, broken and held, protected from nothing and sustained in everything. It’s the beginning of an old story, life and death, loss and life.”

Ashley concluded at the end of the post, “Be free, my beautiful mother. Be free.”

In addition to images from The Judds’ induction, the post also features photos of an alter to Naomi featuring a silhouette photo from when she was 11, and a picture of the two sisters with Naomi at Catty Creek in Kentucky when they were younger.
