Carly revealed that song was born from “the deep solitude of quarantine, a period of time that compelled her toward her most introspective songwriting yet.”

The accompanying music video was shot in the natural elements of Southern California by Taylor Fauntleroy. The song was co-written by Rostam Batmanglij, following their collaboration on 2015′s E*MO*TION.
