Retta Is Still 'Salty' About 'Good Girls' Cancellation

Retta is opening up further about the cancellation of her NBC series, Good Girls.

During an appearance on Live! With Kelly & Ryan, the Ugliest House in America host opened up about what, or who, the reason was behind the cancellation fo the series, which also starred Christina Hendricks and Mae Whitman.

If you don’t know, Good Girls was on the cusp of being renewed for a fifth season when the network pulled the plug on the show, shocking the cast and fans about the decision.

While looking back at the show, Retta was asked by host Kelly Ripa about the show being done for good, when Retta confirmed that it was very over.

But, she says, “One person ruined it for all of cast and crew, and so it’s not back.”

When Kelly then questioned if said person could simply be let go from the show, Retta replied, “I think it was a little too close to when [the writers] would have to start [Season 5 scripts] and figure out story, so… no. Trust me, Kelly, I’m salty!”
