Maren Morris Predicts Her & Ryan Hurd's Son Hayes Will Probably End Up A Musician

Maren Morris is opening up about her hopes for her son, Hayes.

During a new interview, the 32-year-old country star revealed that while she and husband Ryan Hurd are hoping that Hayes ends up in a 9 to 5 job someday, they’re not holding their breath about it.

Maren told ET that Hayes, 2, “pretty much knows every crew and band members’ name now because he’s been out [on the road] so much.”

“The other day my nanny sent me a video of him like sobbing and he was like, ‘Bus, bus, bus,’” she also mentioned, “and he thought he was getting on the bus. I was like, ‘Oh gosh, he’s a road baby already.’”

Maren then added that she and Ryan are convinced that Hayes will end up a musician like them.

“Oh, boy. My husband Ryan and I joke, we’re like, ‘I hope he’s an accountant, that he doesn’t end up in the music industry,’” she says. “But he probably will.”

Maren added, “Maybe he can be in the band someday. Maybe he’ll be my drummer or something and I won’t have to pay him as much.”
