'Elvis' Actress Shonka Dukureh's Cause of Death Revealed

Shonka Dukureh sadly passed away last month and now her cause of death has been revealed.

The Elvis actress died at the young age of 44 at her home in Nashville, Tennessee. She was found dead in the bedroom of the apartment that she shared with her two young children.

An autopsy was performed and the results have now been released.

The report said that Shonka was “discovered unresponsive in bed by her minor son … [who] ran to the neighbors for help, who then called 911.”

The manner of death for Shonka was listed as “natural” and her cause of death is “hypertensive and atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease,” according to Us Weekly.
