King Charles & Camilla, Queen Consort Greet the Public at Buckingham Palace

King Charles is ready to formally begin his reign.

The 73-year-old royal arrived on Friday (September 9) alongside Camilla, Queen Consort to Buckingham Palace in London, England amid a large crowd of mourners following the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth, one day before on Thursday (September 8) at Balmoral Castle in Scotland.

Charles was pictured waving to the public, greeting them and shaking their hands, and viewing floral tributes to his late mother outside of the palace.
