Jennifer Lawrence Battles PTSD in 'Causeway' Trailer - Watch Now!

Jennifer Lawrence stars as a soldier struggling to adjust to life back home in the first trailer for Causeway, released by A24 and Apple Original Films.

The 32-year-old Oscar-winning actress plays Lynsey, a military engineer who returns to the United States from Afghanistan after suffering a debilitating brain injury after an IED explosion.

Causeway is directed by Lila Neugebauer in her feature film debut. Brian Tyree Henry also stars in the film.

“I felt something in my gut when I read this, that immediate, ‘We have to make this’ [feeling]. I identify with that feeling of trying to find your home, to find where you have purpose,” Jennifer said onstage at the 2022 Toronto International Film Festival. “I left home when I was 14. My relationship with home has always been complicated.”

Causeway debuts in select theaters and on Apple TV+ Nov. 4.
