Chris Redd was reportedly attacked.

The 37-year-old Saturday Night Live alum, who was set to perform at the Comedy Cellar in New York City on Wednesday night (October 26), was allegedly assaulted by a stranger.

A DCPI spokesperson for the NYPD said a complaint was filed after a 37-year-old man exited his car to approach the venue, and was punched in the face by a suspect, who has not been arrested. The alleged assailant fled the scene, via People.

He was transported to Bellevue Hospital., and the investigation is still ongoing.

TMZ has video footage that shows bystanders coming to help him as blood is seen splattered the pavement.
